Do you offer tripod heads?

Not yet, but soon!

Mountain Minimal™ tripods are designed, developed, and manufactured from scratch. Our purpose-built products require an abundance of time, money, energy, and connections to bring to market.

We focused our energy on creating the best tripod legs available to backcountry enthusiasts, but we know tripod heads are just as important.

Why aluminum, not carbon fiber?

Aluminum and carbon fiber both have their benefits and drawbacks. Aluminum, for example is more durable.

Our completely original design allows our aluminum tripods to showcase weights similar to carbon fiber tripods of similar capabilities.

Carbon fiber is also much more expensive. As we manufacture a completely original design, our product costs are high. To mitigate the cost we pass along to our customers, we have launched with aluminum tripods. This said, we are experimenting with carbon fiber for future models.

Is your tripod design patented?

Yes! Certain features of Mountain Minimal™ tripods are patented. Our patent primarily concerns our Nesting Leg Locks™. This means we have gone through a multi-year process to prove the originality of our design and have achieved the legal right to exclude others from making, using, or selling our design.

Have you seen our design sold elsewhere? Please, let us know!

Do you offer tripod replacement parts?

Mountain Minimal™ tripods are built to last. This said, disaster can always strike in the backcountry.

If your repair is not covered by our warranty, please feel free to reach out. We will do our best to offer you reasonable options for repairs and replacement parts.

What is the difference between the Scree™ 37 & Talus™ 56?

The Scree™ 37 and Talus™ 56 are identical aside from leg length. Whereas the Scree™ 37 has a maximum height of 37" and collapses down to 15" long, the Talus™ 56 has a maximum height of 56" and collapses down to 20" long.

Do you ship worldwide?

Mountain Minimal™ is not currently selling anywhere outside of the United States & Canada.

Live elsewhere? We would love to hear from you! The more demand we have from additional countries, the more viable it will become for us to sell in more countries.
